An arrival without a way back

The party reached Stormwreck Isle and managed to burn and sink the vessel that brought them there. What began as an expedition immediately became a problem of survival, repair, and finding some other way to leave.

The kobolds of Dragon's Rest eventually began rebuilding from the wreckage. Their work produced a small port, a safer landing place for future vessels, and one small ship capable of carrying the surviving party onward.

The first party

  • Pubezaki: a fighter whose path became tied to Bahamut through a vision and a lasting boon.
  • Grong Blackfoot: an assassin who consumed the heart of a blue dragon wyrmling and paid for it in ways that followed him long after the act.
  • Rolling: a wizard drawn into a bargain with Orcus and later reprimanded for weakness by a greater servant of that power.
  • The cleric: another bearer of Orcus's bargain, eventually placed at the centre of the decision that released Sharruth.

Grong's lost thousand years

After eating the wyrmling's heart, Grong was banished into a pocket dimension. Only a minute passed for everyone else. For him, the isolation lasted roughly a thousand years. He returned gaunt, pale, and deeply changed, carrying memories that the rest of the party could not share.

The Tomb of Sharruth

The tomb was the turning point of the island story. The cleric destroyed the runes holding Sharruth and tried to stand with the released power against the rest of the party. Sharruth's release was not a finished victory; it became a consequence that followed the campaign beyond the island.

Later, the cleric received a dream calling for a return to the light and a chance to start putting those wrongs right. Any redemption still belongs to the character's continuing story.

Leaving the island

The repaired ship carried the campaign toward a larger island and a changing party. Pubezaki left after the crossing. A monk joined in his place, followed later by a druid, a goliath paladin, and a shadow elf combining Soulknife and clerical abilities.

What is left out: unrevealed consequences, future locations, hidden motives, encounter notes, and anything else meant only for the GM.
